Jesse Thurston is an LA-based filmmaker, actor and writer. His most recent project is the improvised feature film Bad at Birthdays, which he directed, co-produced and edited. The film is now streaming online.

He has previously written and directed two short films, both of which premiered at the Maryland Film Festival. Space (2018) also played at the San Francisco Indie Shorts Festival, while Snow Day (2016) is one of the most-watched films on the acclaimed indie film platform NoBudge, where it has been viewed over 3 million times. He is the co-creator along with performance artist Robert Dowling of a stash of comedy videos called “Robert and Jesse’s Video Palace.”

He has studied improv at iO, Second City and UCB and clown with Christopher Bayes.
